Choo Choo!! All Aboard!!

Did you have your ticket for the Christmas Train? Well if you were at the Archbold Parade of Lights or the Napoleon Christmas parade, you were lucky enough to at least see it, even if you didn't have a ticket! ACT along with co-sponsors, Style Solutions and Meyer Equipment, treated the parade spectators with a 75-foot white and gold gilded Christmas Train. From the steam engine with puffing smokestack, to the ornate caboose bringing up the rear, it was truly a treat to see.

The train was designed as a combination Christmas/Circus Train. With steam engine, coal car, giraffe car, presents car, gorilla car and caboose all covered with thousands of lights, the train evoked childhood wonder from the crowds! Thanks to the engineering skills of Todd Grieser and Howard Skates, a Case C50 tractor and five completely different shaped and sized single axle trailers were transformed into a fantasy train.

Hours of planning and many hours of work went into the transformation, but it all paid off when the crowds applauded as the train passed. The train also received third place in the Napoleon Christmas Parade. Thanks to everyone who helped with making our float a hit.
